Most markets in towns throughout France have a markets day which are well worth a wander, whether you want to feast on local delights, practise your French as you hassle for your favoured items the market is always a window into regional France. At some of these markets that open after dark you can dance the night away with your companion and enjoy people watching all adding that little extra to your personal holiday. Products are sourced locally or made fresh for the day and the markets them selves are highly intimate, with a loyal base of customers chatting with vendors. Sellers are always happy to let a prospective customer try their wares before buying.

Night markets with their stalls sell clothing and trinkets, most supply fuel by way of local wines for the dancing.
