I have recently returned from a magical holiday experience with Tim Pyne of EuropeDriving Holidays.
Tim had arranged and booked everything for me, including a stay in a semi-rural farmhouse in Moules, Southern France, where we lived like locals while we toured the many picturesque, interesting, ancient and beautiful towns and villages in The Provence for 11 days, sampling the local food and wines – and the weather was perfect!
We then drove to Tuscany, Italy for a further 12 days, staying in beautiful accommodation in places such as Lucca, Florence and Monterosso on the Cinque Terra coast, spending our days visiting (as in The Provence) many beautiful places with so much history. Again, the weather was perfect! The colours of both countries and their flora, the sea and the beautiful houses viewed at different times of the day when the sunlight and shadows changed the picture, provided amazing memories.
Tim is so very knowledgeable about the towns and villages in Europe which enhances the total experience for the traveller – I felt like I was ‘living the history’ and taking part in a travelogue, interspersed with peace and tranquillity to savour each experience. I was very impressed that he would not only recommend special places to visit, but was happy to detour to places that I had wanted to visit that he may not have, but which he says will now be included in other tours that he undertakes. A very experienced driver – I felt very safe with him in control as we zipped along at speeds not permitted in Australia but are normal in Europe. He is an extremely likeable companion to travel with and we shared many laughs.
The downsides? The extra kilos I managed to accumulate … and that the holiday went too quickly!
Finances permitting, I will travel to other countries that I so long to visit with Tim and EuropeDriving Holidays.

Well! I took the plunge and ‘DID’ Europe with EuropeDriving Holidays….Awesome!
I was met at Geneva Airport with a smile and excitement; we travelled and stayed for three days in a beautiful hotel in the medieval town of Yvoire. Visiting Chamonix and Mount Blanc then Alps and on down to Tuscany staying in a large stately period house set in an olive orchard hill side with a great infinity pool, we travelled daily to Clinque Terre Coast, Portofino, Florence Lucca etc. Magic!
After two weeks in Italy we drove through Monaco and into the French Provence for a week and stayed in a quaint cottage in St Remy ….. Brilliant, visiting daily French hot spots including Uzes, Arles and many villages. Returned to Lausanne Switzerland for three days having a good rest while enjoying Lake Geneva.
Thanks Tim, for a truly amazing trip that I could do again tomorrow if the piggy bank was safe and secure. Tim knew where and when to take us to the many highlights of the Region in Europe and it’s fascinating cultures.
I can recommend EuropeDriving Holidays for your personalised holiday.
Ciao Sue
My travel experiences with Europe Driving Tours have been many and varied, but never disappointing. Tim always manages to capture all the sights I want to see, and many that I never thought I would. From the delights of Paris, to the rugged hills of Scotland and the Welsh borders, where coastal views are abundant, and historic towns a plentiful, it has always been a superb touring experience. During my travels to Paris and Lille, he provided warm affable company, accompanying me on walks around the cafes, boutiques, galleries and museums that I love. His enthusiasm for culture, history and countryside is abundant, and I always feel safe and comfortable in his company. You don’t have to worry about your schedule; Tim is always able to accommodate a change of plan if you decide you want to include more, or less in your tour. The car provided for my tours was a fabulous racing blue Tuscan TVR, and I always felt like a very special lady, with many an admiring glance and comment as we toured around. You don’t have to worry about a thing. Tim takes care of you with an old-fashioned gentleman’s grace and charm of days gone by. I am already planning my next tour, and would recommend Europe Driving Tours to anyone who, like me, wants to travel, but not alone, and is seeking reliable and safe companionship to enable you to explore that bucket list of travels around the globe.

I have just returned from a Personalised Tour taking in parts of Europe with EuropeDriving. In the comfort of the amazing electric blue TVR sports car, driven by the owner, a experienced and professional race car driver. The chauffeur, himself the most attentive amazing and knowledgeable companion. Visiting nostalgic castles, churches and artefacts. Viewing breathtaking scenery, Bridges Rivers and canoeing the streams. Surrounded by fresh air and sunshine, sharing a refreshing picnic with charm and elegance, adds to a fun filled day. Retiring at the end of the day in 5 star accommodation and viewing a day of exciting photos. If you are contemplating a holiday with a difference, I highly recommend EuropeDriving and their Crew for a captivating experience that you will want to return again! and again!, to enjoy.

Flying into Marseilles airport I hoped Tim from Europe Driving was there to meet me, as this was my first visit to Europe!
I was greeted as an old friend and my two weeks touring up through the South of France, Middle France and on through Paris to London was just outstanding. Car and weather could not have been better.
Driving and exploring the Provence with its hidden treasures, central regions with their rolling hills of fields and woodlands was the best holiday I have experienced, with Europe Driving we went directly to the points of interest wasting little time, visited key landmarks without having to wait like most; two hours in hot queue’s. Tim arranged my visit to Paris on Bastille Day, seeing the Eiffel Tower sparking with fireworks, Paris roads making way for the French military machine while the jet flew above. Yet the day prior, we were in the green rolling country side enjoying an enjoyable picnic while the odd car passed by hooting with interest and enjoyment.
I was shown a new world, well looked after and catered for. Thank you Europe Driving, I will spread the word and hopefully enjoy another trip to Europe in the not so distant future.

I traveled for three weeks with ‘EuropeDriving’ through parts of Belgium, Switzerland and France. I was impressed by Tim’s knowledge of the area and of the many lesser known villages we passed through. Tim was the quintessential gentleman. I always felt safe and well looked after and could not have asked for a more congenial guide and travelling companion. No request was too much for Tim and when I asked to visit The Chapel of Apparitions in Paray Le Monial in France, he made sure my visit there was a highlight of my trip. As I was also interested in castles, cathedrals and Roman history, our itinerary was peppered with a generous variety of amazing locations that more than fulfilled my expectations. For anyone wanting a unique holiday, I would definitely recommend the travelling experience with EuropeDriving.”

EuropeDriving drove me along the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne to Adelaide in a Daimler sports car soft top. It’s a pretty small car but Tim forewarned me to pack in a soft bag rather than a suitcase and once all was packed in the back it was a comfortable drive. Tim is an extremely good driver. In all the miles we travelled I didn’t have a single nervous moment. He doesn’t hang around but he does not speed – he drives to the car’s performance within the rules of the road. He is also very good and charming company with a quirky sense of humour – we talked and laughed the whole way. I would thoroughly recommend Tim both as a driver and a travelling companion.

A Dream Come True…
Not having visited the Italian Lakes – although it being a long dreamed of destination – it was simply fabulous to be able to travel across Europe in ‘Film Star’ style.
The TVR car makes it all very special and is the real star of the show – not only does it look the part being sleek and bright blue – it is extremely comfortable, even after a 3+hr drive. It sounds magnificent (particularly through tunnels!) however, its throaty roar is not overwhelming inside the car, even on a long haul.
Our route was chosen to give a variety of experiences; from ‘hair raising’ hairpin bends through deep forests – dark and dripping with moisture from low misty clouds – to narrow lanes in beautiful rural France and wide open ‘fast moving’ motorways, through vineyard covered valleys and long tunnels crossing the Alps, back to Switzerland and the UK.
It’s a once in a lifetime experience – which I would very happily do again if the finances and opportunity came my way… it was certainly a ‘dream come true’ for me.

“To whom it may concern”
Having been twice on different driving experiences with Europe Driving, the first being through parts of Southern France and Switzerland and the second though Germany and Vienna, Austria.
The journey’s took a route’s that included local roads and points of interest, through villages and towns not frequented by tour buses, this enabled the stopping off at local cafés, wineries, antique shops, boats trips across the lakes and experiencing the real country we were driving through without overcrowding. The journey was a joy, traveling with Tim as driver, guide and travel companion made my holiday trip an experience I can only recommend to others.
I felt comfortable, safe and treated well throughout my trips with both the thrill of the classic sports cars, excellent hotels, scenic locations and positive companionship, whether it was dancing in the street, being chased by Bulls, chatting over a wine or on the side of the mountain having a picnic in the sun.
I was picked up on time, in style from my Hotels and spent two weeks touring, given ample luggage space based on the two seater classic sports car, plenty of leg room and I enjoyed the days we had the roof down while driving through the fields of Sun Flowers, knowing that we could stop at any time to take in the sights, meals or just walk the river paths.
All I can say to the team is:- Well done guys when the purse is full again, expect a call as Scandinavia is calling!
