Solo road trip in prestige sports car from London via Switzerland return. Crossing borders and through the country’s in search of both golden golf courses. Better golf score cards with scenic views and history of old Europe.

From vineyards, small villages and towns to great Chateau’s this memorable trip will take you to first class golf courses. Offering the evening in cities of interest. Our travels will see diversity in culture and scenery as we take country roads through England, France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. Stopping for local lunches, meeting people that have lived in the districts for many years.

This trip experiences visits to Leeds Castle where golf is played.  We travel through forests where wars have battled in the past, Visit wide rivers where a leisurely canoe after a game of golf is taken for relaxation. A cool drink on the patio over looking the still waters of the mountain backed Swiss lake while recalling the earlier golf game.

Driving along country roads we find natural sightseeing locations yet stopping at preferred locations for lunch. We travel through the Ardennes, around the Alps, along the Rhine and through Champagne France making this a memorable luxury golf holiday never to be forgotten.

Day 1

Meet and collect from London Heathrow airport, Hilton T4. for this five day Golf holiday, we drive through the country known as the garden of England to our initial destination of the old smugglers town of Rye with its cobbled streets and medieval architecture. Our arrival gives time to walk the town and explore or rest after your flight.

3P/M to 9P/M Free time in Rye

Overnight: Mermaid Inn Hotel (or similar)

Day 2

Golf at a time to suit, we drive to Leeds Castle the selected course enabling the first days golf in England arriving, unloading clubs and signing on then, commencing either by walking or via buggy completing with a well earn’t beer in the 19th hole. (optional playing companion) Once the course has been conquered we take a photo or two before taking the country roads through local villages and Pub’s back to Rye our over night location.

Day 3

Today we drive to the Eurotunnel and catch a shuttle for the 20 minute journey under the English Channel (optional Boat crossing) Once in France we motor to Southern Belgium in the Ardennes forest region along the Semous river and our hotel for the next two nights. We have time to visit the small hamlet and sit on the patio with a local beer watching the swans on the calming river before dinner.

Day 4

A new Golf course, Chateau Royal d’Ardennes in Belgium, at your finger tips, arriving, unloading clubs and signing on then commencing either by walking or via buggy. (optional playing companion) After the mornings golf the opportunity to visit Bouillon a magic medieval gateway from the East into France in days of old, or a pleasant kayak trip down river before a bottle of wine under the leafy canopy on the hotel patio.

4P/M to 9P/M Free time in Semous

Overnight: Chateau Royal Hotel (or similar)

Day 5

We leave Belgium and drive across borders into Germany and on to the Saarbruken district, driving through and experiencing country life before arriving at our destination with time to spare enabling a visit to the area.

6P/M to 9P/M Free time in Saarbrucken

Overnight: Sengscheider Hof (or similar)

Day 6

Off to Golf at Wendelinus championship course in Germany, at a time to suit, arriving, unloading clubs and signing on, the greens await the challenge and the enjoyment of adding yet another international course to your list of clubs played. (optional playing companion) Once finished and the usual photo session we explore the area taking the country roads through local villages and beer houses back to our over night location.

6P/M to 9P/M Free time in Saarbrucken

Overnight: Sengscheid Hof (or similar)

Day 7

Following the Rhine river we head south around the Alps, across borders into Switzerland passing vineyards and fields. Skirting the great lakes we head for the city of Lucerne where we drive into a special place situated on the banks of the great lake, where we sit on the hotel patio and admire the view while a coffee in hand.

Day 8

Yet another course at your finger tips, Golf club Luzern in Switzerland , arriving, unloading clubs and signing on, its off to the greens either walking or via buggy. (optional playing companion) Following the mornings golf the opportunity to visit the lakes attractions before a bottle of wine on the hotel patio followed by dinner.

6P/M to 9P/M Free time in Lucerne

Overnight:  Sternen Hotel (or similar)

Day 9

An early start as we journey across another border and north through France to the city of Reims, famous for its cathedral and Champagne of which we have available on arrival. Time to wander the city and visit the cathedral with its immense size and brilliant blue stained glass windows.

6P/M to 9P/M Free time in Reims

Overnight: Hôtel De La Paix (or similar)

Day 10

Another early start enabling us to fit in Reims Champagne Golf course in France before leaving the country this making 5 golf courses completed. Following the packing of clubs in the car boot we drive directly to Calais on the coast to in turn catch the Eurotunnel shuttle arriving in England.

We again set off north from Folkestone to London arriving at our destination of London Heathrow Airport where the trip conclude.
