Summer Holiday!
Summer Holiday arriving in Schiphol airport Amsterdam, Holland for a world class road trip. The holiday will start with a visit to the beautiful area of Vreeland, historic Museum and evening visit to the Dutch capital city center.
Heading south for your Summer Holiday we arrive in Arnhem and cross the bridge ‘To Far’, then on to once again experience the bridge at Einhoven before arriving at Maastrick for the over night stop. The next day see us stop and visit the renowned race circuit of SPA , pre bookings for track time may fit the Summer Holiday time schedule if desired.
The following morning we drive to the Ardennes in Belgium, staying in a quality country hotel set on the river bank in which we can Kayak taking in the tranquility of the Ardennes. We visit the gap town of Bouillon with its famous castle ruling the valley floor, the region offers magic classic car drives with mountain top cafes to suit the sunny weather.
Leaving Alle on the Semios River we cross the French border and westward on your Summer Holiday through the champagne regions of middle France stopping to sample before reaching our next overnight stop in Troyes.
Troyes is a magic medieval city offering its culinary delights in any one of the range of restaurants or cafe’s, with the sound of flowing water the city is a delight at night with its cobbled streets and narrow alleyways which are all bustling with activity.
Your Summer Holiday takes a journey across country in a southerly direction via Eponia and the natural parks of Des Ballons before arriving in the town of Rouffart, based on the flat lands and surrounded by vineyards the hotel stands out like an Oasis with its location and services providing a good overnight stop.
With the sun up our journey takes us to the famous Mullhouse Motor Museum for a peek at the wheeled delights before turning East along the Rhine river, over the border into Germany and onto Freiburg. We are now in the ‘Black Forest’ region where there are many lovely walks through the Black Forest or visit to the Castles of the region.
The next morning we complete your Summer Holiday by a country drive to the destination of Stuttgart, the drive from Amsterdam has taken us through four different countries, from cities to mountain valley’s and darkest forests to across vineyards. A memorable Summer Holiday for sure!
Day 1
Arrive in Amsterdam, we visit the canals, lunch on the waters edge, coffee in Vreetown a visit to the Austin Healey Museum before dinner and a night tour of Amsterdam city center.

Day 2
Leaving Amsterdam we visit the ‘Bridge To Far’ in Arnhem and onto the Bridge at Einhoven all part of Operation Market Garden where thousands of Allied parachutes in WW2 endeavored to take and hold a number of key bridges against the Axes forces. Our drive continues through country villages and arrive in the music city of Maastricht, a visit to either a show or the venues of world renown conductor Andre Rieu.

Day 3
Driving south west we cross the Dutch Belgium border with our first visit today is the Race circuit at SPA, here we can experience the circuit by either pre booked track time, walk the track or enjoy the hospitality outlets as desired. we then continue through the Belgium country side and into the Ardennes region to our over night stop in Alle on the banks of the Semios River.

Day 4
Today we spent our day in a relax mode visiting the valley town of Bouillon with its mountain top castle, flower covered bridges and a leisurely kayak on the Semios River enjoying the tranquility of the forest region. There are ample hill side cafes and restaurants offering relaxing comfort while taking in the scenery before returning to our over night stop in Alle.

Day 5
Heading West we cross the Belgium border into France near Sedan, an area that many battles through the ages have been fort due to its valley gap location within the impregnable regional landscape. We past and view a number of WW2 blockhouses and other memorabilia on the way across the vineyard into Chalones en Champagne where a stop and tasting of the famous Champagne at the Joseph Perrier Winery. After lunch we continue West across France to the Medieval town of Troyes, one of the jewels of France this town offers culinary delights along its cobbled streets and ally ways.

Day 6
Today we travel south through the natural parks of Foret d’ Orient and Ballons des Vosges and onto Epinal before heading along the D10; D417 & D83 to our overnight stop in Rouffach. The Spa and Pool hotel is an Oasis in the village offering comfort, views across the vineyards a cool drink on the veranda and a good restaurant to relax the evening away. Options of walking through the fields, take a Spa or beauty package all making your Summer Holiday that little different.
2.25hrs 227km – Epinal
2hrs 116km – Rouffach
Overnight: Chateau D’isenbourg Hotel (or similar)
Day 7
A short drive from Rouffach and we visit the Motor museum of Mulhouse renown for its collection situated on the Swiss border. Leaving Mulhouse we follow the Rhine River and cross the Frence German border into the well known Cockoo Clock, Black Forest region of Germany and on into the German town of Freiburg.

Overnight: Hotel Schwarzwälder Hof (or similar)
Day 8
Tracking towards our destination of Stuttgart we detour slightly and lunch at the famous Hohenzollern Castle in all its glory perched high up on its mountain top. Visiting typical German villages we track to our destination and conclusion of the Summer Holiday.
