Delightful drive through the magical European continent, offering open country through five countries of Europe.
This tour includes such points of interest as: – Castles, Alpes, Waterways, Lakes, Ferry rides, Medieval Towns, Vineyards, Kayaking, Cycling, Rural village activities, Cathedrals, Gardens, Flowers, Country & City shopping, world renowned points of interest and more.
Arriving in Marseilles we visit Provence and The Camargue where we experience local foods and country life. Visit and kayak under the Pont Du Gard, Isle of Sorgue markets, St Remy and Arles before travelling along the Northern shores of the Mediterranean past towns including St Tropez, Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Genoa before arriving in the delightful town of Portofino. Followed by the Monterosso on the Cinque Terre coast, city’s of Luca, Pisa and Florence. Through Tuscany to Siena before heading North to Como and the Italian Lakes, destination of Menaggio. Using Menaggio as a base we explore Bellagio and Lake Como before a country drive across to the largest lake, Lake Maggiore where we take a ferry to Intra staying overnight in Verbania.
From Verbania we climb up through the snow covered Alps and along the notorious Simplon Pass, passing the mountain – Mont Blanc and into Yvore. A medieval town set on the edge of Lake Geneva, we spend a few days based in Yvore while experiencing the majestic Lake. Montreux being next port of call before visiting Basil in Switzerland where we drive along side the Rhine river with its history and Castles situated on its banks. Our overnight stop at this point is in the renown town of Nancy which is on our route to Belgium where we have a rural stop in a small village of Alle. While here we enjoy the leisurely Kayak down river experiencing the Ardennes Forest and the unique country side.
Leaving the Ardennes Forest we travel across the vineyards to the town of Troyes with its renown restaurants and medieval buildings, the following day we travel to Auxerre set on the river Yonne with its twin Cathedrales. After exploring Auxerre we drive into Paris where we stay centrally enabling us to visit the central districts of the magic city including Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Seine River, Arch de Triumph and The Louvre before driving to Charles De Gaulle airport and your return flight to Australia.

Day 1
Fly into Marseille airport.
Collect and drive to farm house in Moules, Provence.
Here we settle in for the next few days which includes village shopping for provisions as its self cooking while on the farm.

Visit – Avignon, with its Universities, majestic Palpal Palace, large shopping zones and renown half bridge across the Rhone river.

Day 3
Visit – Isle De Sorgue village market considered one of the worlds markets. Driving on and upward to Gordes a mountain village where the buildings are all made of local stones set on stones.

Day 4
Visit – Pont d Gard, we drive to Esc where we visit the beautiful village shopping amenities, before getting a kayak to enjoy a leisurely paddle down river offering spectacular sights of the Pont de Gard a 2000 Roman aquaduct still in tack.

Day 5
Visit – St Remy town, made up of interconnecting walk way streets set in the Medieval times, where the ring road is used chasing the bulls a spectacular not to miss.

Day 6
Drive and visit – Grasse a girls best friend, renown for it Perfume factories. Time to trail the local offerings together with road side cafe’s offering taste delights.

Drive and visit – Portofino & Santa Margarita a region not to miss. This hidden gem is a must offering spectacular coffee spots, walk to the Castle on the summit, shops worthy of time to peruse then there is Skippers with their floating dining room for your meal.

Drive and visit – Monterosso is a hot spot set on the cliff sides of the Mediterainean with it coloured buildings, small shops and cafes.

Visit – Monterosso/Riomaggiore via Ferry. Today we ferry along the coast to visit the regional fishermens villages all offering unique expereinces in this romantic part of Italy.
